AIMS OF THE CLUB

To promote, develop and sustain the game of women's cricket in the island of Jersey.

To offer members the opportunity to play both recreational and competitive cricket regardless of their ability.

To build a club that will lead to improved performance levels for all members and to help all players reach their potential within the sport.

To ensure the Club is open, friendly and inviting.

To maintain links with national and international cricketing organisations and cricket clubs in the island of Jersey.

To encourage junior players to get involved in the sport through school to club links.

THE SPIRIT OF CRICKET

In 2000, the MCC revised and re-wrote the Laws for the new millennium. The major innovation was the introduction of the Spirit of Cricket as a preamble to the Laws.

The Lilies Ladies Cricket Club is committed to upholding the Laws and the Spirit of Cricket, as defined by the MCC, whenever and wherever they meet. This includes keeping club members safe when they train or play with us.
